“Branding is the art of differentiation” -David Brier

Overview:
artsNantucket is an annual guide product that was developed by MEC between 1997 and 2016.  It was co-founded by Jack Weinhold and Arlene O’Reilly. In 2005, O’Reilly bought out Weinhold as a partner to have 100% ownership, under the umbrella of MEC.  The MEC team advanced the print guide into the digital world.

Results:
artsNantucket was known as the “art bible of Nantucket.”  MEC specialized in art photography and color management to represent the artwork shown in print. artsnantucket.com was established in 2004 and was complimented by the artN APP. The last guide edition was published in 2016 after a sustainability analysis showed that change was required.  New plans are underway in 2022-2023 to evolve this brand using new technologies. Stay tuned!
